Marshmallow Cream Fudge
3/4 c (1-1/2 sticks) butter
3 c sugar
1 5oz can evaporated milk
1 16oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 8 oz jar marshmallow cream
1 tsp vanilla
Completely butter a 9x9x2 pan. Mix butter, sugar, and evaporated
milk in a deep sauce pan. Bring
to a full boil on medium heat. Stirring constantly to prevent
burning. For best results use a wooden
spoon.
Continue boiling until it reaches 234 degrees
on a candy thermometer. Continue stirring. Gradually add in
chocolate chips until all are melted. Add
remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Cool at
room temperature. Cut into
squares when cool. Keep in a cool place after cutting.
