Mocha Walnut Fudge


Mocha Walnut Fudge

100g milk or dark chocolate
60g butter
1/2 cup condensed milk
1 tablespoon honey
3 teaspoons instant coffee powder
1 teaspoon hot water
2/3 cup full cream milk powder
2/3 cup icing sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
3/4 cup walnuts

1. In a saucepan, melt chocolate and butter, stirring until melted.

2. Remove from the heat, then add condensed milk, honey, coffee powder dissolved in hot water, milk powder, icing sugar, vanilla essence and ½ cup of the walnuts.

3. Mix until thoroughly combined.

4. Press the mixture into a greased 23cm square tin, and scatter the top with the remaining walnuts, pressing them in firmly.

5. Refrigerate until set, then cut into thin oblongs, or squares to serve.
