Butterscotch Fudge
4 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cubes margarine
1 (13 1/2oz) can evaporated milk
4 small pkg butterscotch bits
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
Mix sugar, margarine and milk. Bring to a boil and cook 6 minutes.
While this is
cooking, mix butterscotch chips, vanilla and nuts in a large bowl.
When sugar and
margarine mixture is cooked, add to the ingredients in bowl. Pour
out in a flat 9"x13"
buttered pan. Cool and cut. Makes 5 lb candy.
